First released in 2003, this renowned product was completely redesigned from scratch for its 20th Anniversary and presented in not just one, but two versions: the iconic Classic Edition and the brand-new Anniversary Edition.

While the new Classic Edition may look very similar to the previous version of the set everyone knows, every single detail has been completely redesigned and improved. The iconic holder, shaped like a stylized human figure, is still made of plastic, but now features enhanced material quality, refined finishes, and improved assembly precision.

The base retains its classic circular shape, symbolizing a pool of blood that flows along the figure’s body to its feet, becoming three-dimensional and supporting the entire set. Although the base has the same footprint as the original, it’s now significantly heavier to improve stability and allow one-handed use: knives can now be inserted or removed without needing to hold the stand with the other hand.

The five stainless steel knives have been completely redesigned. Their handles are now more ergonomic and feature a three-dimensional pattern that improves grip and reduces slipperiness, even with wet hands. The blade shapes have been refined for better balance and precision. The upgraded stainless steel makes them sharper and more durable than ever.

The patented internal mechanism that slides and locks the blades in place has been upgraded and recalibrated to match the new knives. The mechanism only works with the original knives included in the set.

The transparent blade covers are now removable for easier cleaning. They can also be taken off entirely to achieve a cleaner, more minimalist look.
